Limmud Far East Registration is now open!

Limmud Far East organizers are happy to announce that the registration for Limmud Far East Conference is now open!

The first Limmud Far East Festival will take place in Birobidzhan, Jewish Autonomous Region on September 10th – 13th, 2009. This Limmud Conference is timed to the Festival of the Jewish Culture and Art – traditional every-two-year Festival of Birobidzhan – and will therefore become a harmonious part of significant cultural event in Far East of Russia.

Traditionally each day of Limmud Festival will be filled with lectures, workshops, panel discussions and concerts featuring leading Jewish presenters. Famous guests of honor and Jewish public figures will take the floor during the Festival. Only Limmud offers you a chance to choose the best pastime among a huge number of exciting events and more than 70 fascinating sessions in 3 days!

Limmud Festivals are being held successfully in Russia and the FSU for more than 3 years already. Beyond all doubts Limmud Far East continues the great traditions of the world Limmud and is based on the famous Limmud foundations. One of these principles is an informal communication between the participants. Friendly atmosphere of Limmud Festival will let everyone get to know each other and make new friends.
